    Guide Review - Painted Futura Laptop Desk

    The Futura Painted laptop desk that I selected for review was the Largely Leopard pattern – I will admit that selecting the color/pattern was not easy. You can select from the currently available choices or view future color and pattern considerations for what may be available in coming months.

    If you like the peace of mind of having a couple laptop desks – the Futura is a good choice. You can leave one in your laptop bag and the other on your desk or favourite workspace in your home or the office.

    Just as the other LapWorks products have been designed and constructed, the painted Futura follows that same path. Even with a heavier model laptop, it is still comfortable to sit with the Futura on my lap and the laptop can still stay cool as there is room for the air to circulate.

    The non-skid pads held my laptop in place when used on a desktop surface and the laptop does not slid down and off the Futura laptop desk.

    The only issue I ran into with the Futura was that when I closed the laptop desk flat, the top does not latch back tightly. Once packed into my laptop bag this doesn’t pose any problem. Now this just may have been the one I’ve reviewed and may not be an issue with any others.

    The Futura is a great laptop desk to have and as I’ve said earlier, why not get a couple – even different patterns so that you can always have one available and you don’t have to worry about forgetting it.

    Battery self-discharge performance and the reasons for the battery self-discharge
